Our TEDS bear was in fine form dressed in her fairy recycling costume and was much loved by the children who came to say hello and give her a hug! It was a great day and thank you and well done Gary and Susi for all your hard work organising the event.
SUNDAY 27TH JUNE - TEDDY BEARS PICNIC, BEAULIEU
In it's third year, this event takes over the village of Beaulieu with stalls, games, tombola, teddy bears of all shapes and sizes and everything connected with them - from teddy bear chairs to teddy bear clothes, you name it and, if it had a bear on it, they had it!
TEDS attended with our mascot and enjoyed the hot sunshine and set up our information table under the shade of a tree in the playing field, where we could listen to the swinging band
and watch the entertainment.
This event was in aid of the HONEYPOT charity that offers breaks to children at their centre in the New Forest. These children are young carers of either a sibling or even a parent, so for them it's fantastic that they get the chance to play outside with kids their own age who are in a similar situation. Look at the work honeypot do on their websitewww.honeypot.co.uk
