Coping with CHAOS is a parent-led organisation where all of the office staff and many of the play workers and volunteers are either the parents of, or siblings of, children with a disability or additional needs. They are well aware of the joys and challenges that this can present and offer support to parents through the difficult times as well as celebrating the achievements of the children. A 2 year old girl from Alderholt, Hampshire who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, has the rare chance to have an operation performed on her legs and spine, the catch is, it's in America. Her parents and family are trying to raise enough money to send her out there for the operation, which will give her a better chance of a quicker and better recovery then if she waited until she was at least 6 years old when the operation could be performed in the UK, so saving 4 years of hospital visits, sore legs, physiotherapy appointments and no doubt sleepless nights , from both Missy and her parents.
